Vocali3e Emma Versteeg - soprano, Louise Burnet - flute, Robin Versteeg - piano, present their programme 'Atlantic Crossings'. A fascinating recital of music from America, Scotland and Ireland, including art songs and folksong arrangements by Joseph Haydn, Andre Previn, Amy Beach, John Corigliano and featuring two Scottish composers now living in the States Thea Musgrave and Jennifer Margaret Barker. Central to the recital is the UK Premiere of Fathers by American composer Lori Laitman. Vocali3e will be joined by cellist Maya Burman-Roy for this powerful cycle of songs to texts by Anne Rannasinghe and David Vogel.
