Orchestral Suite
A varied and exciting mainly Bach programme: Concerto in E major BWV 1053 with pianist Richard Beauchamp, Cantata BWV 54 with alto Carole Clarke, Orchestral Suite No.1 and Arias by Handel and Purcell from soprano Libby Crabtree. The Bach Ensemble of Edinburgh was formed in 2012 and gives concerts in and around the capital. The repertoire has included Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos and Orchestral Suites as well as music by Handel, Vivaldi and Mozart.
